In his second game back for the GlobalPort Batang Pier, Gary David struggled from the field before coming up with the game-winning three-pointer with nine seconds left.
The man known as “El Granada” missed most of the past three months for his team as he was busy with his commitment to Gilas Pilipinas.
“Medyo mahirap yung transition lalo na ngayon maraming bago,” said shooting guard from Lyceum of the Philippines.
But David, who became a darling of the Filipino crowd during the FIBA Asia Championship as they tried to buoy him up during a shooting slump, said the experience with the national squad is helping him with the transition back to his PBA club.
